Nicholas Felton’s Annual Reports are one of the most visually alluring examples of the quantified self and the sense that data driven identities are to be a part of our future.
Often though it’s hard to see beyond the narcissism of this practice and the resulting dodgy infographics. But when Felton combined his elegant designs with data that maps the life of his recently-passed father, the information takes on a whole new character, substance and meaning.
Nick Felton is reportedly also the inspiration behind the new Facebook timeline incidentally.
So, back to the narcissism anyway…
